Marching Forward and Making Love Known

Two hours of lamenting and

distressful staring

at the computer,

and my phone…

"What is ahead?

When will this be fulfilled?"

These questions were

too big for me so

I went to prayer.

While praying I remembered

a message given by Bob Sorge.

Why did Esther give two banquets?

(based on the book of Esther, Old Testament)

It's a Fact: King Xerxes removed Queen Vashti (whom Esther eventually replaced) from her position because Queen Vashti challenged a command of the King. She defied him. Possibly Esther was thinking her request challenged another of King Xerxes' commands. So Esther may have thought, "If I make this request without tact, the King will feel defied by me, just as he did Vashti."

By hosting those two banquets she paved the way for her request with the message, "I love you! You're the best!". Her request would come from the place of relationship and fellowship. King Xerxes delighted in his Queen and when she finally made her just plead for help, He was prepared to and eager to grant it.

Bob Sorge's point was to answer the question, "How do you appeal to a God who is partially responsible for your crisis?" By doing what Esther did for her King! "I love You! You're the best!" You cry out, "Abba! Have mercy on me! Walk me through this. I lean on You and I will come forth from that fire as useful pure Gold."

I really need to be with my team in Austria.

I am eager to begin sowing seeds of the Gospel in this place and to show the way to the Father. The past year has brought me closes to being able to live this out in Austria. But I am still unable to leave. Why? One-hundred percent of my funding has to be raised (Just like YWAM and Campus Crusade). My set-up expenses are $8,000. Praise God that has been provided already! Thank you to those who joined in that! Of my monthly expenses, I still need $975.

Once this is provided/pledged I will be on my way!

Please keep praying for my team and for me as I wait and seek for Him to grant the request for $975 a month.

Don't forget to love Him in your prayers as you prepare to ask! Think Esther :) He is worthy and good and able!
