Months ago I expected to miss this American tradition, by being in Austria already. My parents are pleased at least :)
I'm not exactly displeased, but I am eager to begin. So much of the woman God has been shaping me into will be able to operate in this ministry. I will get to lead, teach, and learn in a place I would only go by God's request. Asia makes more sense to me (but that's another blog entirely). But this isn't based on my own understanding, right? (Prov 3:5-6) This verse in Proverbs is really keeping me grounded.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make your paths straight.
I'm glad He will make the path straight. In fact I'm thankful, although this path is feeling longer by the hour. I am still thankful. :) What are you thankful for? What has He given you that makes you thankful?
